What is an ad campaign in programmatic
Ad campaigns are created by demand partners to promote their products or services online. Ad campaigns are launched on ad platforms such as demand-side platforms or ad exchanges. Once the campaign is set up on the platform (targeting and other settings are configured), the platform starts bidding on requests coming from supply-side platforms (publisher technology), which notifies buyers about available ad impressions. DSPs take part in the RTB auction, then the highest bidder wins, and their ad is served to the user.
